Rabat is the capital of this North African country however the better known gateway of Casablanca is the starting point for many travellers to this country.
Major airlines to service flights to Casablanca are Emirates via Dubai, Air France via Paris and British Airways via London. There are also many ‘budget’ airlines that fly via many European cities as well as New York to Casablanca and Marrakech.
The main currency used here is the Moroccan Dirham which at present 1 Australian Dollar converts to 10 Moroccan Dirham.

Australian passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Morocco for stays up to 3 months. This can be extended to 6 months upon request at the main police station.
